Equipment -> Virtual devices
Virtual devices allow an extension to be configured on the ucplus server that is used to monitor calls to/from an external PSTN number.
When a call is made/received to/from the external number (from a real extension that is monitored by the ucplus server) the extension icon will change from a black dot to a red circle. This allows all ucplus users to know when a colleague is talking to the user of the external number. A user can also be created and associated with the virtual device, making the functionality visible in the User view, as well as the Extension view in the Presence window. Virtual devices require a license.
